Tuesdays with MOJO / Please indulge me

beginnings, dream, fearMarjorie Spitz Rento2 Comments

As I sit here with the spa channel playing on satellite radio, sipping my peach detox tea, receiving emails of support from my friends, I feel excited.  My current employment position is coming to a painful end, but the path is opening for my new venture and exciting opportunities.  The universe is speaking to me and it’s time. Time to let go of fear. Time to fulfill my dream. Time to be my fullest self.  Time to run my own show.  It won't be easy, but it will be me.  I will surround myself with people who play well with others (as someone recently suggested to me).  I will say "yes".  I will have confidence in myself and my abilities.  And I will start NOW!

I want you to be there. You are my circle.  My clan, my posse.  I am going for it with MOJO Health + Wellness and I hope you'll join me on this journey.

This is the first of a series of "Tuesdays with MOJO".  Please tell me what has inspired you and if it’s led to any actions on your part.

With your permission, I will anonymously highlight some of those in what will ultimately be "Transformation Corner" on my website.  More on that later, but for now, here’s my thought for the week.

Cliche, but true -- when one door closes, 10 open.  Do you choose to move forward, or look back? Do you expend your energy on the negative aspects of what's ended, or look forward with excitement to what’s coming? In the past, I would spend hours, days, weeks or much longer ruminating in what was behind me, literally losing sleep.  Today, I choose to look FORWARD with enthusiasm.  As of today, I refuse to get sucked into the drama and mishegas of others, and will instead focus on what's ahead. It will be tough but fun, fruitful and more rewarding in more ways than I can even anticipate.  I-will-let-go.

Is there something in your life that you need to let go of that’s dragging you down?  A person, project, habit or issue?  It doesn't have to be huge – it’s often the small things that lead to the biggest impact.  If you let that "thing" go, what door would open for you?

Please spend 5 minutes thinking about that question, and share your answer with me.   Perhaps you can even take it so far to also share the solution as to how you can cut loose what's dragging you down?  If not I will be happy to help you do so via phone or in person.

What can you let go of TODAY that will open a new door for you?  I look forward to hearing your answers.

With love,

Marjorie
